Headway In Nepal

2022 Youth Camps were a SUCCESS!

The Lord certainly had His hand of provision over this year's camps in a multitude of ways.

Travel to Nepal was a bit tricky this time around but God blessed our team with getting us there safely without too many hiccups. Our team was able to stay in relatively good health the whole time which was also another huge blessing.

We were able to run two separate day camps in government schools and work with youth groups from churches in two separate locations. One being in Nawalparassi and the other in Kohalpur which are located in the southern region of Nepal. Exams were taking place during the time we were there but we were still able to have plenty of time with the children. The kids were excited to see us return and to know that we are trying to become a consistent part of their lives through camp ministry. It was truly motivating to see how quickly everyone in the schools welcomed us back to run the camps. The continued relationships we were able to develop and the new connections we made were beyond exciting to experience during our time there. We were able to bless each student in the schools with a hat, gloves, socks, and a scarf which will help keep them warm this winter. It was so exciting to run the camps and share the love of Jesus with the campers while simply having fun with them and giving them a break from the constant routine of regular life. Seeing a simple smile on the children's faces is more than enough motivation to continue doing God's work through these camps in years to come.

We want to give a special thank you to YWAM Yosemite and their DTS team for helping us run the camps by offering help with playing games, singing songs, and doing skits for the kids. We also want to thank our translators and contacts, Rajendra and Bishal who were a huge help with coordinating everything in Nepal before we got there and providing places for our team to stay. Most importantly we want to thank everyone who supported financially and through prayer. Your help is greatly appreciated and we wouldn't have been able to run these camps without you.
